Abstract

The mass spectra of CF3OCF(OSO2F)CF2X (X=halogen, NO2) and some model compounds have been studied. It has been established that the molecular cation-radicals of these compounds are not stable. The main breakdown processes of the even-electron fragment ions occur with migration of halogen atoms or fluorosulfate groups to neighboring carbon atoms.
