Abstract
Twenty-two cases of femoral shaft fractures of all types have been treated by the Roger Anderson automatic ambulatory splint and the statistics analyzed. In spite of the apparently complicated procedure necessary to proper reduction, the results fully justify the use of the method in properly selected cases.
