Abstract
In a special vehicle gearbox planetary transmission mechanism, the sun gear was broken under high-torque and high-speed operating conditions. This paper conducts chemical composition detection, hardness detection, non-metallic inclusion detection, part fracture scanning and other failure causes detection for the failed sun gear, and analyzes the main factors that cause the failure according to the failure characteristics of the sun gear, and proposes improvement measures, which has certain guidance significance.
