Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the available literature, the interface bond between FRCM and masonry substrate was statistically analysed. First, the interfacial failure modes were classified, and their distribution was analysed. Second, the interface fracture energy between the FRCM and masonry substrate was further calculated considering Mode-II interfacial fractures, the influential factors were analyzed, and the calculation formula of the fracture energy was obtained. Finally, the characteristic values of the ultimate bond load were determined via a statistical method. The research results have guiding significance in the analysis of the mechanical properties of FRCM-strengthened masonry structures and improvement in the corresponding design methods.
