Abstract

Dislocation and fractures of the carpal bones and within these the fracfure-dislocation of the radiocarpal joint is a very rare traumatic situation and mostly reported as case report in literature. The case reported here (65 years old male) had dorsal dislocation of the radiocarpal joint, radial dorsal in fracture and radial stiloid fracture because of exterior vehicle traffic accident. Closed reduction was performed and the wrist immobilized in plaster casting for 1,5 months, The patient was followed up to 54 months with nearly normal ROM of the joint and mild pain from time to time beign the only complaint.
