Abstract

Abstract Argentation adsorption thin-layer chromatography has been used for the fractionation of a natural mixture of alkenyl acyl- and diacyl choline phosphatides. This produced not only concentrates of alkenyl acyl choline phosphatides but also species of alkenyl acyl- and diacyl choline phosphatides that varied in unsaturation in the fatty acid moieties.
