Abstract

The presented approach is a first view on how apply the fractal theory to the modelling of electrical power systems. The idea presented above can be illustrated by the ramifications of power networks which remind the structure of a fractal object. Using the example of an electrical circuit derived from the fractal of Cantor, the authors showed that there are strong links between the network topology, the power law between the impedance and the frequency and the Constant Phase Angle zone of the frequency response.
