Abstract
Fractional optical soliton solutions of the space-time fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equation are obtained via three analytical methods, including fractional Riccati method, fractional double function method and fractional Y-function expansion method. We exhibit dynamical characteristics of fractional optical soliton solutions. It is of great importance to comprehend the mechanism of complex nonlinear optics and other physical phenomena described by fractional nonlinear evolutional equations.
