Abstract

Molecular dynamics simulations of ionic motion in Ag 2S reveal fractal aspects of trails and isosets of Brownian motion. For silver ions in the superionic state, and silver and sulfur ions in the molten phase, fractal dimensionalities of isosets and trails are found to be D = 0.5 and D = 2, respectively. These results are consistent with D 1 − D −1 .
