Abstract

I was vastly amused by The Times' week-long front page campaign (The Times, 2000) against the foreigners allegedly defrauding the NHS at the expense of British taxpayers. August is a slow month for news. Additional glee came from seeing Dr Liam Fox, William Hague's health spokesman, joining in like a young cub who had suffered a lobotomy.
