Abstract
The first four surface virial coefficients in the virial expansion of the surface tension of a hard-sphere fluid are calculated. The virial expansion for surface tension of a hard-spheres-hard-wall system is compared with the results obtained by means of the Percus-Yevick, hypernetted-chain, and scaled particle theories.
