Abstract

The decays Z/sup 0/..-->..LL and Z/sup 0/..--> nu../sub 4/nu-bar/sub 4/ are promising sources of a possible fourth-generation charged lepton and its neutrino, both of which may be heavy. We give expressions for the rates and differential distributions, including production and decay correlations, for e/sup +/e/sup -/ and pp-bar production via real or virtual Z/sup 0/. We evaluate the different leptonic and hadronic signatures in e/sup +/e/sup -/ collisions and present rates for dileptons from LL-bar production in pp-bar collisions.
