Abstract

ABSTRACT FIELD tests of large four-wheel drive tractors used in dryland conditions were conducted to evaluate instantaneous drawbar pull and power values for front and rear axle drive tubes. Field results were compared to results obtained from modeling studies. Field data was evaluated to determine instantaneous axle power, tractive efficiency values, dynamic weight transfer under load, and system frequency distribution and response.
