Abstract

Background: Cerebral amyloid angiopathy(CAA) is characterised by βamyloid deposition in the walls of small to medium sized arteries, causing cerebrovascular disorder. Cerebral amyloid angiopathy-related inflammation (CAA-I) is associated with white matter lesions of CAA patients. CAA-I presents with acute or subacute onset of headaches, disturbance of consciousness and seizures improved by immunosuppressive therapy.
