Abstract

Rationale: Data in critically ill patients on the effect of intravenous lipid emulsions (LE) containing omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are scarce and shows conflicting results. This study compared the effects of two LE’s in critically ill adult intensive care unit (ICU) patients.
