The plays originate in different parts of the country, are of varying lengths and cast sizes, and represent male and female viewpoints equally. They are relatively new works by known Canadian playwrights. They are also comedies, in theory at least, but as such they are unlikely to arouse equal interest, for they are by no means equally funny.
