Abstract
The yellow, crystalline four-coordinate compounds [Nb(O)(O-2,6-R 2C 6H 3) 3], R = Me ( 1), R = tBu ( 2), have been synthesized in good yield via the reaction of [Nb(O)Cl 3(CH 3CN) 2] with LiO-2,6-R 2C 6H 3.
