Abstract

This editorial reviews the challenge and opportunities for European foundations, philanthropists, and civil society to make globalization work for health and to use health to foster better forms of globalization .It takes forward the case made in the Journal by Ilona Kickbusch for global health [1] and an exemplar of addressing the March 2007 Oslo Ministerial Declaration: Global health – a global foreign policy issue of our time. [2]
