Abstract
Trustee Associates represent the financial backbone of the SEG Foundation, allowing us to create new programs and support existing programs. A Trustee Associate (TA) is an individual or family who has donated or pledged to donate at least US $10,000 to the SEG Foundation. Contributions made through the SEG Foundation currently help to support 18 different SEG programs designed to “Advance Geophysics Today” and “Inspire Geoscientists for Tomorrow.” To highlight just a few of these beneficial programs: contributions this year supported 133 scholarship students pursuing studies in geophysics, allowed student participation in 15 field camps offering “hands-on” experiences in applied geophysics, and provided more than 140 travel grants that allowed students from around the world to attend educational and leadership workshops and conferences. SEG continues to demonstrate the importance of our future—now with 282 Student Chapters worldwide!
