Abstract
DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5915/41-2-4457 The Muslim Community Center for Human Services (MCCHS) in Tarrant County, Texas, is a nonprofit, charitable organization providing medical and social services to underserved populations, especially immagrants and those who lack health insurance. Relying primarily upon volunteer staff and donations, the center has been able to add more and more medical and social services in its 13 years of operations. This center reflects the changing priorities of Muslims in the United States.
