Abstract

The article is an analysis of two poetic texts by Witold Wirpsza from the volume Comments on fotografia. The object of inquiry is the status of photography as a prop in Wirpsza’s multimodal construction. The similarities between the works were brought out and explained on the assumption that in both cases the poet uses references to Dante’s Divine Comedy.
