Abstract

The purpose of the present research was to study ethical leadership as a forecaster of employees' innovative performance with the mediating role of employee voice. Data was collected from supervisors-subordinates dyad working in the software houses of Pakistan. The results of the present study suggested that ethical leadership was positively related with employees' innovative performance. Moreover, employee voice was observed as mediating variable between the ethical leadership and innovative performance linkage. The social exchange theory was utilised to construct the theoretical framework. This study has also discussed practical implications of the findings. Very few scholars have examined the significance of ethical leadership and voice behaviour of employees and focused on mediating variable such as employee voice, which has significantly contributed to the literature of business management and ethics.
