Physicians should be at the forefront of identifying inappropriate procedures, and such a consensus list represents an important contribution to this effort.As was mentioned in Laine's accompanying editorial (2), our group used a similar consensus method to agree on “top-5 lists” of inappropriate testing in several specialties, including internal medicine (3).
