Abstract

Social and cultural development together with scientific advances have made ethics acquire a relevant dimension in this first quarter of the 21st century. However, to date, there are few experiences in the universities of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) where the ethical perspective is brought to the educational curriculum, beyond the subjects of ethics that some faculties offer to their students. For this reason, during the academic year 2021-22 at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain), a Teaching Innovation Project is being carried to foster the students’ development of the ethical sense when it comes to deal with Information and Communication Technologies’ implications in subjects related to computer engineering.
