Abstract

1. During a combination of acoustic and photic stimuli, two-way connections are formed between the cortical representations of the combined stimuli. 2. Orienting reactions toward the second stimulus, activated by forward connection, have the property of specialization. 3. A difference was found in the manifestation of orienting reactions to the positive and differential stimuli during a combination of sound with light.
