The meeting will outline the fundamental theory of the image-forming process and the parameters used to define imaging system performance. Techniques for assessing the performance of imaging systems will be included. A large portion of the meeting will be concerned with the physical factors which affect imaging capability in ultrasonics, radioisotopes, diagnostic radiology and CT scanning.
