Abstract
Explicit formulae for the coefficients of expansion of q-Bernstein polynomials in terms of little q-Jacobi polynomials and vice versa are given as evaluations of q-Hahn and dual q-Hahn polynomials, respectively. These results are used to derive a procedure for obtaining N points on a q-Bézier curve of degree n in ℝ d , with a cost of O(n 2 + Nnd) operations.
