Abstract

We derive a lower bound on | c 2 s 2 s δ | as a function of the B meson lifetime and the top quark mass. The quantity c 2 s 2 s 3 s δ relates a certain ΔI= 1 2 matrix element to ϵ'/ϵ. Our bound can be useful in determining the explanation for the enhancement of ΔI= 1 2 matrix elements in nonleptonic kaon and hyperon decays.
