Abstract
Summary Frequently in pharmacy practice an oral liquid preparation of frusemide is prescribed. Since no commercial preparation is available various formulations are used based upon crushed frusemide tablets, which have no stability data available. An investigation was therefore conducted to develop a stable palatable oral liquid formulation of frusemide of known shelf life.
