Formations of finite monoids and their applications: formations of languages and $$\tau $$-closed saturated formations of finite groups

Abstract

Ballester-Bolinches et al. (Forum Math 27(3):1471–1505, 2015) developed a general method to describe the languages corresponding to saturated formations. In the present paper, it is shown that the mentioned result is applicable to the languages corresponding to $$\tau $$ -closed saturated formations of finite groups.
