Abstract

Rapidly hardened alloys of the Al – Cr – Ti, Al – Mo – Ti, and Al – Mo – Zr systems are studied with the use of methods of physicochemical analysis. The regular features of variation of the phase composition of aluminum-base alloys are determined in extra-rapid cooling as a function of the content of alloying additives. The kinetics of decomposition of metastable phases, including supersaturated solid solutions, and the kinds of phase transformation in rapidly hardened alloys are studied in the temperature range of 200 – 400°C.
