Abstract

In the modern pedagogical space of Ukraine the problem of orientation for students of non-physical culture on the values of physical culture is still open, because in the state of health of the intending pedagogical workers negative tendencies are observed for a long time. Particular approaches to organization and carrying out the physical education classes for students of pedagogical specialties require female subjects, which are mainly detached from systematic motor activity and are the most critical ones regarding the means, forms and methods of organizing the activity. The article is devoted to the formation of physical culture in the individual as the main goal of physical education in the student’s youth. In particular, it reveals the level of development of youth’s personal physical culture, the level of physical fitness in students, the level of motivation to the forming a physical culture of the individual. The impact of the traditional system of education on the forming the physical culture of the personality in the younger generation is analyzed. The analysis of literary sources about available programs in physical education for students of higher education institutions and found that one of the most important tasks to improve the educational process in the institution of higher education is the organization of optimal level of motor activity in students that can provide them with a good state of health, physical and mental ability to work, positive psychological and emotional state, active rest that will be able to satisfy their need for movement. It is determined that the students’ physical activity is the main factor to preserve and strengthen the health, it is a universal means of prophylaxis of diseases. A detailed analysis of the areas of physical culture of the individual has been carried out and the goal of the physical education of the student’s youth has been determined. The process of forming and studying value orientations on the formation of the personal physical culture in the student’s personality is substantiated. It is established that motor activity positively influences building up and developing all functions of the central nervous system, strength, mobility and the balance of the nervous processes.
