Abstract

It has been studied that the growth of the rate of scientific progress and the development of the information society determine the need for the formation of a number of competencies, understanding of the logic of scientific research, and the development of research abilities and skills in those who acquire professional preliminary higher education. Thus, it was found that research skills are a set of systematized knowledge, abilities and skills of the individual, views and beliefs, which determine the functional readiness for creative searching solution of cognitive problems. The authors justified the following pedagogical conditions: formation of motivation in future specialists to implement research skills during independent work; execution of research tasks by future specialists in the process of independent work. The criteria with the corresponding indicators, which are logically related to the selected components of the structure of research skills of future specialists, have been defined: motivational and value criterion; cognitive; technological; reflexive A comparative analysis of the results of the diagnosis of the students of professional higher education in the experimental and control groups regarding the formation of research skills before and after the experimental work allowed us to come to the conclusion that in the experimental group its formation took place more effectively than in the control group.
