Abstract

Formation of nitrogen oxides in a combustion chamber is studied with use of a high-capacity burner, during the operation of which a stage of diffusion combustion is specified. It is demonstrated that organization of the combustion of gaseous fuel for excess-air factors close to α = 1.1, and including a stage of diffusion combustion, makes it possible to reduce NO x concentrations to values appreciably lower than the limiting allowable concentrations.
