Abstract

The article analyzes information and psychological campaigns conducted by ideologists of the “Russian world” in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. The main accents, methods and approaches used by propagandists during the conduct of manipulative actions are identified. The visual filling of propaganda products during mass public events is analyzed. The target audience of audio-visual products is outlined, as well as the main storylines and the origin of the scripts for holding mass celebrations related to the memory of the Second world war. The common and distinctive features of the celebrations in the Russian Federation and in the so-called “DNR” and “LPR” were revealed. The pro-Russian ideological influence on humanitarian and social policy, and especially on memory policy, is analyzed.
