Abstract

Highly c-axes oriented 2212-phase films have been synthesized from the BiO 1.5CuO(SrO,CaO) multilayers and uniform magnetron sputtered amorphous BiSrCaCuO precursors using postannealing in air at (700÷850)°C. In situ high temperature XRD studies have been carried out to elucidate mechanisms and kinetics of the two-layer phase formation. High crystalline quality of the 2212-phase films formed from the multilayers we associate with accelerated two-layer phase growth in presence of fugitive liquid and intermediate Bi and Sr oxyde based solid solution [1].
