Abstract
The influence of dispersion distortions on a decameter-band radio pulse with amplitude-frequency modulation, which propagates along a homogeneous ionospheric path, has been considered. It is demonstrated that the specially selected frequency modulation law can give rise to the transformation of a radiated pulse into a sequence of pulses. The possibility of controlling the parameters of a formed sequence via the selection of monopulse characteristics is justified.
