AbstractExperiments with the systems: Uranyl nitrate — Lithium nitrate — Water, Uranyl nitrate — Sodium nitrate — Water, Uranyl nitrate — Potassium nitrate — Water, Uranyl nitrate — Ammonium nitrate — Water, viz., conductivity, pH and spectrophotometry revealed that in the first system there is no compound formation, in the second system only one complex compound is formed in the (1 : 1) molecular artio whereas in the last two systems two complexes are observed individually in the (1 : 1) and (1 : 2) molecular ratios respectively.
