Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation of the national brand of Russia in Latin America, including in the context of the changing geopolitical situation in the world. The image of the state is an integral part of the culture and prestige of the country, which is a necessary factor for its sustainable development. The article examines the main directions of Russian public diplomacy in this region, the problems faced by the Russian government, and prospects. In this context, some recommendations have been given on the creation and implementation of new mechanisms, the promotion of possible projects and initiatives to form a more solid Russian public diplomacy in the Latin American region and improve the image of Russia as a whole.
