Abstract

A method is described for building a database on rotor blade wear, using the results of multiple measurements. The method is based on the use of information concerning the natural spread of rotor blade parameters of one blading ring and takes into account the accuracy of the measurements, time variations, and spikes. With this method there is no need of custom systems for identifying the number of a specific blade during a measurement, and it enhances the reliability of the data accumulated.
