Abstract
Abstract Formation kinetic measurements for a number of F aggregate color centers in NaF were performed using the zero-phonon absorption lines 5456 A, 5754 A, and 6070 A as well as the F, M , and R 2 absorption bands. Taking into account the color center symmetries obtained from uniaxial stress experiments several possible models for the centers which give rise to the zero-phonon lines are discussed.
