Abstract

The ECM-ISC model is widely used in information systems, especially in the mobile Internet research field about the continuous use behavior. Based on it, we built a conceptual model for formation and enhancement of user stickiness of fitness apps, and explored the user continuance behaviors of these apps through questionnaire surveys. The result reveals that user expectation confirmation and perceived usefulness are positively correlated; the perceived usefulness and user participation positively affect trust; and satisfaction and trust jointly affect weak user stickiness and strong user stickiness. Therefore, extending the functions of fitness apps, meeting user demands and increasing user engagement can effectively increase the user stickiness of fitness apps.
