Abstract
The article considers the stages of formation and development of disability evaluation agency of the BSSR and reveals the main directions of their work in the post-war period. This article highlights the most important changes in the normative legal base, which determined the functioning and priorities in the practical activities of the disability evaluation agency. The study identify main problems and difficulties faced by the social security system of the BSSR and the measures that were taken to solve them.
