Abstract

The article presents the results of studies and verification of the method for determining the optimal configuration of the electric grid, according to the criterion of minimum Short-circuit Currents (Isc) or the lowest voltage losses (ΔU) in the network nodes when load increases, which on such properties as stiffness and sensitiveness of nodes.Formalized analysis method of grid by the magnitude of short-circuit currents using the Sensitivity Coefficient (Cs) is researched. Following the results of a research two main conclusions are formulated. First conclusion is about the effectiveness of using two nodes loading methods for grid analysis. And second general conclusion about the applicability of the nodes sensitivity coefficients evaluation method. It gives possibility to choose from several configurations of the grid schemes the one with the minimal Isc in nodes or the grid with balance between Isc and sensitivity of nodes to change of load.
