Abstract
Purpose. The studying of the sources of information containing a description of the railway infrastructure in Ukraine and the development of formal methods of its description in accordance with the requirements of the Euro-pean Union is the purpose of this article. Methodology. As a model of railway infrastructure is proposed to use a parametric graph. To represent the graph in a computer memory the methods of relational databases are used. Find-ings. When independent companies will be admitted to the main railway infrastructure, infrastructure manager should provide a description of the railway infrastructure in open access. The structure of the technological docu-ments railways was explored. The structure of technological processes of rail transportation was improved. Also it was developed a database structure that allows to implement an interactive map of the railway infrastructure in Ukraine. Originality The originality of this work consists in improving of description of the railway infrastructure for the possibility of organization of transportation by independent carriers on the main rail network. Practical val-ue. The practical value of the results is that the present description of the infrastructure brings Ukrainian railways to the description of EU railway infrastructure, and allow in the future to simplify the conversion to the European regu-latory framework.

Статья направлена на исследование информационных источников содержащих описание инфраструктуры железных дорог Украины и разработку методов формального ее описания в соответствии с требованиями Европейского Союза. Научная новизна работы состоит в совершенствовании методов описания железнодорожной инфраструктуры для возможности организации перевозок независимыми перевозчиками на магистральной железнодорожной сети. В частности разработаны технологические процессы дирекций железнодорожных перевозок и железных дорог, содержащих описания их железнодорожной инфраструктуры. Целью данной работы является исследование информационных источников, содержащих описание инфраструктуры железных дорог Украины и разработка методов формального ее описания в соответствии с требованиями Европейского Союза. Для возможности получения более детальной информации об услугах, оказываемых на станциях в технологических процессах дирекций также необходимо ведение реестра подразделений железных дорог, независимых предприятий и организаций, работающих на инфраструктуре железнодорожных станций, с указанием их контактной информации. В последующем по аналогии DB Netze [3] на основании представленной базы данных может быть разработана интерактивная карта, которая позволит перевозчикам получать информацию об магистральной инфраструктуре в открытом доступе через интернет
