Abstract

Formaldehyde released to the air from carbonless copy paper forms is suspected of causing eye, skin and respiratory irritation among office workers. Significant levels of HCHO emanating from the multi-page forms have been measured. There is evidence that the residual formaldehyde dissipates to the air as a result of handling and storage.
