Abstract

We have measured the temperature dependence of the resistance Rxxand Rxy of a two-dimensional electron system in the regime of thequantum Hall plateau transition. We observe for our sample aconsiderable large critical exponent κ~0.66−0.77, which maybe due to the dominant electron-phonon scattering. Further we find asimple exponential form of Rxx = Rcexp(−s) in agreement withthe theoretically proposed universal scaling function.
