Abstract

We argue that the straightforward introduction of \ensuremath{\pi}N form factors into the s-wave component of the two-pion-exchange three-nucleon potential based on chiral symmetry is not free of problems. These can be avoided by means of a redefinition of the potential which considers its physical content.
