Abstract
Foreword to the Special Issue on Laser and optical technologies in biomedicine and ecology
Highlights
It is our pleasure to present you the Special Issue of the Journal of Biomedical Photonics & Engineering (J-BPE) with selected papers of the Biophotonics Workshop of the XVI All-Russian Youth Samara Conference-Contest on Optics and Laser Physics (Samara, November 13-17, 2018)
It was shown that laser radiation promoted solution homogenization
The authors analyzed IR spectra of material samples with glucose and hydroxyapatite. They concluded that porous silicon is promising material for glucose biosensors
Summary
It is our pleasure to present you the Special Issue of the Journal of Biomedical Photonics & Engineering (J-BPE) with selected papers of the Biophotonics Workshop of the XVI All-Russian Youth Samara Conference-Contest on Optics and Laser Physics (Samara, November 13-17, 2018). Anna Neupokoeva and co-authors from Irkutsk State Medical University and Irkutsk Technical National University analyzed the changes of an insulin solution’s structure under the influence of 650 nm laser radiation. The researchers used nanometer resolution probe microscope for analyses of insulin crystallograms.
