Small areas of forest land in the region are set aside for recreation (10.8 ha) and recovery (183.8 hectares). Protective forest plantations in the region is 35.5 thousand hectares (1.5%),which leads to the development of the degradation process and reduces the stability of natural and man-made landscapes.
